Williamson West Virginia Mingo County completes a test broadcast to two thirds of the county with great success.
On a Saturday morning Mingo County 911 blasted our thousand of calls to 10,806 residents and business locations. A message was delivered to individuals who answered or left on an answering machine explaining that it was a test of their new emergency management system.
Ms. Faith Leonard, Deputy Director of 911 operations, stated “it was not only remarkable of how rapid the notifications were broadcast but how simple it was to activate. Having the ability to notify certain parts of the county about emergency situations from any computer that has internet access or launch the notifications from a telephone, creates a since of pride that our center is on the leading edge of technology. I cannot praise the WARN system enough”.В

Our county broadcast over ten thousand (10,000) calls in less than fifteen (15) minutes. We are delighted with those results and the support we receive from the local support center.
W.A.R.N. has given our emergency services and county commission the security of knowing that we can notify large areas or smaller defined areas within our county with crucial information when necessary. We have been totally satisfied with the product and hope to continue a relationship with WARN for years to come.
